Matte Spray Primer for Miniatures, Models and 3D Prints

POP ART Matte Spray Primer is an acrylic-based aerosol base coat designed to prepare compatible surfaces before brush or airbrush painting. It creates a uniform matte foundation that makes the surface easier to read and helps later paint layers apply more consistently.

The 400ml spray format is useful for miniatures, scale models, statues, terrain, props, craft projects and properly prepared 3D prints. Aerosol application reaches textured areas and complex shapes without leaving brush marks.

Choose the Right Primer Color

• Black: useful beneath dark color schemes, deep shadows, metallics and terrain.
• Grey: a balanced general-purpose base for both light and dark colors.
• White: recommended beneath bright colors, pale schemes, neons and transparent shading colors.

Compatible Project Surfaces

Use on clean, dry and suitably prepared plastic, resin, metal, wood, plaster and other compatible hobby surfaces. Because materials and previous coatings vary, test the primer on a small hidden area before applying it to the full project.

How to Apply

1. Remove dust, grease, release agents and loose material from the surface.
2. Shake the can thoroughly according to the directions printed on the container.
3. Test the spray pattern on cardboard or spare material.
4. Apply light, even passes while keeping the can moving.
5. Build coverage gradually instead of applying one heavy coat.
6. Allow the primer to dry adequately before applying paint.

Application distance, drying time and recoating time can vary with temperature, humidity, surface type and coat thickness. Follow the current instructions printed on the can.

This is a pressurized aerosol product. Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, avoid breathing the spray, and keep it away from heat, sparks and open flames. Do not puncture or burn the container. Keep out of reach of children and follow all label precautions.
