Description
Acrylic Polyurethane Airbrush Paint for Models
POP ART Acrylic Polyurethane Airbrush Paint is a water-based specialty color developed for airbrush application on miniatures, scale models, figures, statues and primed 3D prints. It combines acrylic color with a polyurethane-modified binder for projects where a durable, smooth painted finish is desired.
Choose from the color and set options shown in the product selector. Each individual color is supplied in a 30ml bottle for controlled dispensing and easy palette management.
Recommended Uses
- Miniatures and tabletop figures
- Scale models, vehicles and model kits
- Gunpla and science-fiction models
- Painted resin and FDM 3D prints
- Statues, action figures, props and display pieces
Airbrush Application
- Apply over a clean, dry and suitably primed surface.
- Shake the bottle thoroughly until the color is evenly mixed.
- Test the paint on spare material before working on the final model.
- Build coverage using light, controlled passes.
- If adjustment is required, add a compatible thinner gradually rather than using one fixed ratio.
- Clean the airbrush promptly after use before paint dries inside the nozzle.
Nozzle size, air pressure, temperature and the selected color can affect spray behavior. Adjust the setup gradually to match the required coverage, transparency and level of detail.
Surface Preparation Matters
Primer choice, surface cleaning, coat thickness and drying time all affect adhesion and final durability. For best results, use a compatible POP ART primer and allow each coat to dry before handling or applying the next layer.
Thinning and Cleanup
Use POP ART Acrylic Airbrush Thinner only when extra flow or reduced viscosity is needed. Do not over-thin the paint, as excessive reduction can lower coverage and film strength. Clean tools with the appropriate cleaner immediately after painting.
Color and sheen can vary with primer color, application thickness, lighting and display settings. Test important projects before final application.
