Traditional Solvent for Oil Painting

POP ART Distilled Turpentine Oil is a traditional solvent for thinning compatible oil paints and cleaning oil-paint brushes and tools. The 125ml squeeze bottle supports controlled dispensing for studio and hobby use.

Recommended Uses

Adjust the consistency of compatible oil paint.
Support thin initial layers and selected oil-painting techniques.
Remove wet oil-paint residue from compatible brushes and tools.
Clean palettes and suitable equipment according to their manufacturer’s instructions.

How to Use

Add a small amount gradually and mix thoroughly. The required amount depends on the paint, technique and desired handling. Test first and follow the paint manufacturer’s recommendations. For brush cleaning, remove excess paint before using a small amount of solvent, then complete cleaning according to the brush maker’s care instructions.

Important Compatibility Information

This product is intended for compatible oil-paint applications. It is not a reducer for water-based acrylic model or airbrush paints. For preparing compatible acrylic colors for airbrushing, use POP ART Acrylic Airbrush Thinner.

Handling and Storage

Use in a well-ventilated workspace and follow the product label and safety data sheet. Keep the container tightly closed, away from heat and flame, and out of reach of children. Avoid unnecessary skin, eye and vapor exposure.
